my 72 set arrived in the mail! salkghdglasdgjh how exciting.

tried them out.. they're.. weird O: i never really colour with markers so i kind of have to reteach myself how to blend and. stuff. getting a smooth base coat of solid colour over a large area is the real challenge.

and whilst colouring i realised that i don't have red. or black. or any greys. hm. that's unfortunate since i use those colours quite frequently and now i have to try to make my own D: red is failure being a primary and all...

anyone know how much individual markers cost in canada? might wait till i'm over there to buy what i'm missing since here they're $10 each (sob).

I have used copics for a long long time. I just slowly collected them while living in Australia ($10 a piece). I have roughly 150+ copics in my collection, I use them all the time. I don't know how much they cost in Canada, however. I may have a spare read, though, I'll have to check and I might be able to mail one (as I am in the US, Wisconsin, now).

Blending isn;t too bad, but I recommend using a seperate sheet of paper just to get used to each color. Just like many other mediums, the color of the cap is not always exactly the color on the inside, I have found some colors you would assume are darker then another tend to be lighter. Try to organize them so you know which are lighter and darker then iothers, not exactly by what the caps show. :)

Pfft, damn straight.

The good thing is that Copics are one of the best markers that i've seen when it comes to blending. It'll take some practice, but you'll be able to manipulate the brush strokes in time and then you'll make beautiful arts again!

Copics are very expensive though. About $5 US. D:
